Education

As part of the Editing, Layout, and Transcription department I worked on over 125 courses in my almost two years of service.

I was one of the managing editors and led an editing team for one of the stories we published. I loved getting a greater insight into the publishing process: picking and preparing a story, communicating directly with the author, and leading a team of editors as we did substantive and copy edits.

I provide a fresh set of eyes to run a final check on their thesis, which often allows me to find inconsistencies and help the author flesh out weak areas.

My editing capstone project was, as part of a team, to take a manuscript from developmental edits to finished, physical product in less than four months.
